Film format is a large factor in overall image quality. Simply put, the larger the format, the finer the film grain, gradation, and image detail. Medium format cameras offer photographers a higher image quality than 35mm with a camera size that is light enough for both indoor and outdoor work. Bronica offers four medium format 'system' cameras in three different film sizes: 6x4.5cm, 6x6cm and 6x7cm. The film sizes are respectively 2.7x, 3.5x and 4.5x larger than 35mm film. To compliment the systems, wide ranges of accessories and high quality lenses are available. No matter whether the camera is being used for location or indoor photography, there is an accessory to cover every task.
