Objectives & Targets of the 3rd Mid-range Environmental Management Plan
Tamron has established mid-range environmental management objectives and targets for the three-year period from 2007
through 2009. We at Tamron will work on consolidating environmental management activities of all group companies in order to
ensure reaching our environmental management targets, including zero waste emissions and reducing carbon dioxide emissions. |

Tamron will work to reach our mid-range environmental objectives and targets from six major approaches: (1) establishing
an efficient management system through integrating our Environmental Management System and Quality Management
System and sharing an integrated ISO system between Omiya Head Office and three factories in Aomori; (2) promoting waste
reduction and recycling; (3) promoting environmentally friendly designs;(4) proper management of chemical substances
(substances subject to PRTR); (5) promoting CO2 emission reduction; (6) prevention of environmental pollution.
