We are pleased to advise you that we will start a firmware update service for the following Canon mount models to allow proper AF function in live view mode when used with EOS8000D (EOS Rebel T6s / EOS 760D) or the EOS Kiss X8i (EOS Rebel T6i / EOS 750D), which went on sale on April 17.

With this update the autofocus function operates properly in live view mode when used with EOS8000D (EOS Rebel T6s / EOS 760D) or the EOS Kiss X8i (EOS Rebel T6i / EOS 750D).
The new version of the ROM data will be integrated into all new production from May.
＜For users who require the modification＞
The modification can be done by updating the firmware data at a Tamron authorized service center. For more information and handling procedures please contact your local Tamron distributor.

The following serial numbers have the new firmware.
*Some lenses outside of above serial numbers may have new firmware as well. Please contact your local Tamron distributor if you prefer the firmware update on your lens.
